DUSHANBE, 11.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – An agreement was signed on January 8 in Dushanbe between the Ministry of Transport and South Korean ISAN Corporation for consulting services as part of the state investment project “Increasing preparedness and resilience to natural disasters in Tajikistan,” funded by the World Bank.
The primary objective of the agreement is to prepare a feasibility study, detailed work plans, tender documents, and environmental protections for the construction of two bridges in the Rudaki district and two bridges in the Vose district.
The two bridges on the Dushanbe-Rudaki highway will be built over the Kofarnihon River and the Elok River. The other two bridges on the Dushanbe-Kulma highway will be built over the Kyzylsu River and the Yakhsu River.
The consultancy services are expected to commence in early January 2024 and continue for 12 months.
