At the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Doha on a state visit. A guard of honor was presented at the Hamad International Airport to welcome the distinguished guest. The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and other officials were present to greet the President of Uzbekistan.
Tomorrow, the leaders of the two countries will hold high-level meetings to discuss the further deepening of relations and developing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar, particularly in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian fields. Additionally, the President of Uzbekistan is expected to meet with businesspeople in Qatar.
