The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been invited by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, to attend a working visit to the city of Bishkek on October 13 for a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The summit will focus on strengthening multilateral cooperation within the CIS, including the implementation of joint programs and projects in trade, investment, industrial collaboration, innovation, digitalization, transport, education, culture, and other fields.
The heads of state will also discuss matters on the international agenda.
The meeting is expected to result in the adoption of several agreements and decisions on priority areas of interaction within the Commonwealth.
