The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been invited by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to take part in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States. The visit, taking place from November 2-3, will take place in Astana.
The agenda for the summit will focus on developing multiple aspects of cooperation between the member states, such as trade, economic investment, transportation, communications, environmental protection, culture, humanitarian aid, and other fields.
The leaders of the delegations will also discuss current issues in international politics and regional interaction.
The meeting is expected to end with the adoption of several joint documents.
Uzbekistan is the presiding state of the Organization of Turkic States this year, and more than 100 important events have been held to further strengthen the ties between the member states.
The Organization of Turkic States consists of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Türkiye, as well as observers Hungary and Turkmenistan.
