On Tuesday, Samsung Card Co. revealed that its second-quarter net profit was 145.1 billion won (US$113 million), a 6.5 percent decrease from the same period a year ago.
The company reported an operating profit of 192.6 billion won for the April-June period, which was 8.2 percent lower than the year before. Sales were also down 2.7 percent to 979.7 billion won.
