Researchers from the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Studies on the olx.uz platform classified home prices in the second quarter by 115 areas.
432,893 data points were collected and displayed as an interactive web page. Prices per square meter of housing are organized into ten groups. The least expensive regions are in the first group ($390 per square meter), and the most costly in the 10th (up to $1251.69 per square meter). Each group represents a price range of $86.15.
In the second quarter of 2023, Tashkent had the highest average cost of $1,251.69 per square meter and was in the 10th highest price category. Samarkand ($753.03 per square meter) was in the 6th group. The 2nd group included Namangan, Jizzakh, Surkhandarya, Bukhara, Fergana, Kashkadarya, Syrdarya, and Khorezm regions with lower average prices. The lowest cost per square meter was seen in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
