DUSHANBE, 03.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 29, representatives from the Antimonopoly Service under the Government of Tajikistan attended the 57th meeting of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the CIS Executive Committee, the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, and the Eurasian Economic Commission.

During the meeting, the Head of the Antimonopoly Service of Tajikistan, Islomiddin Rahmon, met with the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of Uzbekistan, Khalilillo Turakhudjaev.

The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation in the area of antimonopoly policy based on previously signed agreements.

The parties reached an agreement to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences and information between authorities to effectively carry out antimonopoly activities.
