On September 29 in Doha, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda held a conversation with the Chief Executive Officer of the Nebras Power Khalid Mohammed Jolo.
The discussion was part of the fourth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Qatar on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
It was pointed out the potential of investing in essential projects of Tajikistan, especially in the construction of the Shurob hydroelectric power plant. The Qatari energy firm was asked to invest in the continuation of the construction of these major projects.
Khalid Mohammed Jolo noted that he was aware of the energy capacity of Tajikistan and showed his willingness to invest in the Shurob HPP.
