Today, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, embarked on a working trip to the Republic of Tajikistan to attend the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the founders of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. At the capital’s International Airport, he was seen off by officials.
When he arrived at the Dushanbe International Airport, the President of Turkmenistan was welcomed by officials. In accordance with the customary courtesy, he was presented with flowers.
The independent neutral Fatherland prioritizes strengthening and deepening effective cooperation with neighbouring states, whose people are bound by strong ties of friendship, cultural and civilizational identity, and historically established connections. This creative, peace-loving strategy, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and currently implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has earned worldwide support and recognition.
Advocating for a consistent and balanced approach to regional collaboration, taking into account the interests of all parties, based on mutual respect and goodwill, Turkmenistan puts forward concrete proposals in this regard. It is worth noting that our country has been the host of numerous regional summit meetings.
