In order to improve the management of the sectors of agriculture and environmental protection in the country and to increase their effectiveness during the era of the Renewal of the powerful state, I hereby decree:
1. Establish the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, based on the division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
2. The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, together with the Ministry of Adalat and other relevant ministries, shall draw up and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan draft regulations on the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the structures of their central offices, proposals for the salaries of managers, the staffing of the central offices, as well as amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Decree.
3. Determine the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan as the successor for agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
4. Determine the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan as the legal successor for environmental protection of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
