On the 32nd Anniversary of Independence, the Republic of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev bestowed titles, orders, and medals on a host of citizens and foreign investors. The awards ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence on August 30.
President Mirziyoyev congratulated the attendees and spoke of the nation’s progress since the implementation of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, which was informed by over a million proposals from the public. He emphasized the importance of peace, stability, and the well-being of the people in the pursuit of creating a better Uzbekistan. Drawing on the words of Alisher Navoi, he said that caring for the people is the most important factor of humanity.
The Head of State also praised the efforts made to assist those in need, reduce poverty, and reform the mahalla system. He called out the awardees individually and thanked them for their exemplary service.
The recipients were presented with the Order “Imam Bukhari” of the highest degree, an honor established by the President to promote national pride. They expressed their gratitude and wished the nation’s people the best.
