Preserve the white-headed vultures!

The white-headed vulture is a species that is included in the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. It is found on the Zaamin State Reserve territory, which falls under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During monitoring work, up to 30 of these birds were spotted at Akhangaran Reservoir, 46 at the Objasoy River (Kuramin Mountains), 70 in Dehkanabad, and 27 in the village of Tangi (Kugitangtau). These birds are safeguarded in mountain reserves and national parks, and hunting them is forbidden.
