Polish Minister of Education Visits Samarkand

Barbara Nowacka, the Minister of Education of Poland, arrived in Uzbekistan and paid a visit to Samarkand. Accompanied by the Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, the guests were given a tour of the Presidential School in Samarkand. The students’ musical performances on traditional instruments and the exhibition of technical developments and inventions caught the attention of the delegation members. The Polish Minister of Education was particularly impressed by the facilities and resources available for natural and exact sciences, such as classrooms and laboratories. The delegation also took a tour of the city’s historical and cultural landmarks, starting with the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. The guests were provided with detailed information about the history of the site, the Timurid era’s socio-economic reforms, and the city’s landscaping activities. During their visit to the Registan Ensemble, the Mirzo Ulugbek Museum Complex, and other historical monuments, the guests learned about Uzbekistan’s history, culture, traditions, and customs.
