The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov welcomed the Rector of the Ege University of the Republic of Türkiye Necdet Budak, according to the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, it was discussed that the ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, particularly in the areas of science, education, and culture, have been steadily strengthening.
Mr. Budak discussed the activities of Ege University and the potential of its faculties.
The parties discussed the possibility of executing various projects for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, the organization of a joint exchange of knowledge in crafts, pottery, and teaching the Turkish language.
Mr. Nazarbekov noted that Uzbekistan is always eager to collaborate with Türkiye, utilizing aspects of public diplomacy in culture and beyond.
