The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Cultural Heritage Agency have taken apart a mosaic panel created by Arnold Hahn, which was located on one of the buildings of a newspaper in the center of Tashkent, and are seeking ways to move and preserve it.
Citizens are invited to join a competition to decide the panel’s new home.
Competition details:
– Citizens can submit their proposals for the panel’s future location to the Telegram number of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan: +998 91 001 08 86;
– Professionals will evaluate the suggested locations and a vote will be held on the official Telegram channel of the Foundation: https://t.me/acdfuz.
Submissions that include a design project with the mosaic panel will be given special consideration.
Applications should include the following information: Tashkent, street name, and house number. Landmark: photo of the location.
The Art and Culture Development Foundation has said that after the restoration work, the mosaic panel will be located at the address chosen by citizens and open to the public.
