The Senate organized a virtual meeting with a delegation led by Sukhbaatar Erdenebat, Chairman of the Mongolia – Uzbekistan Interparliamentary Friendship Group. It was emphasized that the friendly relations between the two countries have a strong historical basis and are continuously developing through mutual respect and trust. The participants engaged in discussions on enhancing the effectiveness of the Uzbekistan – Mongolia Interparliamentary Friendship Group and establishing joint parliamentary oversight to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of agreements made at the highest level. The proposed roadmap for interparliamentary cooperation for 2025-2026 was also deliberated, and specific tasks were identified. Norgul Abduraimova from UzA reported on the meeting.
