The New Uzbekistan University recently held a roundtable discussion with representatives from about 30 German industrial companies. The event was attended by Tilo Klinner, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan, and provided an opportunity for the university to showcase its innovative, research, and academic potential.
The participants discussed the potential of creating an ecosystem of cooperation between Uzbekistan’s university and German industry, noting the presence of great opportunities in the education, science, and industry systems that have yet to be realized. Joint student practice, research work, an Olympiad, and a hackathon were held between the New Uzbekistan University and German industrial companies.
