The Termez National Carpets enterprise, located in Surkhandarya region, was launched in August 2022. The project cost was 20.2 million euros and the latest technologies imported from Germany, Belgium, and Türkiye were used to equip it. The automated control system allows the 4 large weaving looms, each capable of producing 1500-2000 square meters of carpet daily, to operate efficiently. Energy-saving technologies have also been implemented in production.
The majority of the materials used in the production of carpets are sourced locally, with polypropylene raw materials purchased from the Uz-Kor Gas Chemical enterprise. The remaining 30 percent of raw materials are imported from Türkiye and Bangladesh.
