On September 19, representatives from Tajikistan, China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan gathered in Dushanbe for a consultative meeting. The occasion coincided with the 30th Yangling International Agricultural Expo and the High-Level International Forum on Soil Health Protection.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed various topics, such as providing food security in the region, improving food product quality, rural development, climate change, soil degradation, water conservation, and natural resource management. They also looked into the potential of creating technology parks for crop production, agricultural machinery, and processing and packaging agricultural products, as well as the possibility of enhancing scientific collaboration. Furthermore, they contemplated the development of cooperation in crop production, agricultural mechanization, green agriculture, digital agriculture, knowledge exchange, and training for agro-industrial personnel.
