SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) — On Monday, Lotte Fine Chemical Co. revealed a third-quarter net loss of 12.9 billion won (US$9.5 million), a sharp contrast to the 22.5 billion won profit the company had posted in the same period last year.
The company stated in a regulatory filing that operating income for the July-September period dropped 70.8 percent year-on-year to 35.1 billion won. Revenue also decreased 36.2 percent to 401.2 billion won.
