The Economic, Social and Labor Council of the Republic of Korea, led by Chairman Gi-Seob Kwon, paid a visit to Samarkand.
The delegation had the opportunity to learn about the operations of the Vocational Training Center for the Unemployed, which was established in Samarkand with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). They also engaged in discussions with the young individuals who are currently enrolled in the center.
A joint meeting was held at the center, which included representatives from the Economic, Social and Labor Council of Korea, the Samarkand Regional Department of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the regional territorial departments of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation Council of Trade Unions. The meeting covered topics such as vocational training, social protection for the unemployed, migration, and other related issues.
The delegation also had the opportunity to explore the famous landmarks of Samarkand.
