On Wednesday, KEPCO Engineering & Construction Co. announced that its third-quarter net income had skyrocketed to 4.9 billion won (US$3.7 million), a massive 733% increase from the same period last year. Operating income for the July-September period was 5.2 billion won, a stark contrast to the 779 million won loss reported in the same period of the previous year. Sales also rose 10.5% to 119.4 billion won.
