On Friday, South Korean banking group KB Financial Group Inc. announced that one of its vice chairmen, Yang Jong-hee, has been chosen as the candidate for the group’s next chief. Yang, 62, has been in charge of the group’s retail banking, asset management, and pension-related businesses since the beginning of the year. The nomination will be officially approved at a shareholders meeting in November.
