DUSHANBE, 24.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – An agreement between Tajikistan and China to form a joint venture in Tajikistan to assemble electric cars with a yearly output of 1,500 vehicles valued at $25 million was signed.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, during his official visit to China which began on August 20, officiated the signing of documents concerning cooperation between the private sectors of China and Tajikistan.

In particular, a Memorandum was inked between the Avesto Group Limited Liability Company of Tajikistan and the Jinchuen Company of China for the organization, development and management of a joint venture for the production of electric vehicles in Tajikistan with a production capacity of 1,500 vehicles per year in the amount of $ 25 million.
