Industrial Production Declines 0.7% in July

Statistics Korea reported on Thursday that South Korea’s industrial output decreased by 0.7% in July compared to the previous month, due to the current economic slowdown. This comes after June’s output remained unchanged.

Retail sales also experienced a 3.2% dip during the same period.

In addition, facility investment fell 8.9% month-on-month in July.
