Akmaljon Mahmudaliyev, the Hokim of Syrdarya Region, welcomed a delegation led by the Party Secretary of China’s Shaanxi Province, Zhao Yide. Talks were held in a private setting and the guests were shown around the Peng-Sheng and Sirdaryo Mega Lux enterprises in Syrdarya. The quality of the products made here was highly praised, as was the potential for projects with Chinese capital and scientific expertise.
To mark the occasion, the two leaders planted a tree in the Uzbekistan – China Friendship Garden as a symbol of friendship, growth, and progress. A formal meeting was held at the Reception House of the Regional Hokimiyat, with the participation of the Hokims of various districts and cities.
The visit was seen as an opportunity to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two sides.
