The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov set off for a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany today. This visit is a result of the successful implementation of the policy of international cooperation initiated by the National Leader and implemented under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan. This is indicative of the fruitful relations of the independent neutral Fatherland with the states of the European Union.
At the Ashgabat International Airport, the National Leader had a conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan. The diplomat congratulated Hero-Arkadag on the independence holiday and wished him a successful visit. In response, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude and noted with satisfaction that German business structures are actively involved in the realization of large-scale projects in Turkmenistan, particularly in the domains of healthcare, high technology and agriculture.
The Hero-Arkadag airliner then flew to the «Berlin-Brandenburg» International Airport in Berlin. Upon his arrival, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by officials of the friendly country and members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan. From the airport, the National Leader travelled to the residence allocated for the duration of the working visit.
