SEOUL, Oct. 9 (Yonhap) — Hanwha Aerospace Co. announced on Monday that its American subsidiary, Hanwha Defense USA, will advertise its artillery and other defense products at the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting & Exposition this week.

The event will take place from Monday to Wednesday (local time) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., with the aim of securing potential deals, according to the company’s statement.

Hanwha has chosen to take part in the AUSA exhibition due to the increasing demand for artillery in the midst of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The statement revealed that Hanwha plans to display items such as K9 self-propelled howitzers, artillery modular charging systems, ammunition resupply vehicles, and TAipers guided air-to-ground missiles.
