SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) — Handsome Corp. has announced that its second-quarter net income was 8.6 billion won (US$6.6 million), a decrease of 51.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The company’s operating profit was 5.8 billion won, a decrease of 78.8 percent from the year before, as per a regulatory filing. Revenue was also down 3.3 percent to 345.7 billion won.
The operating profit was 75.0 percent lower than the estimated figure, based on a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. There was no estimate of the net profit.
