At a meeting of the heads of delegations from Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany in Berlin, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended an invitation to German business to participate in projects related to the electric power industry and renewable energy sources.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people highlighted the importance of green energy for the future, and mentioned that Turkmenistan is taking steps to develop solar and wind energy projects. Additionally, he expressed interest in collaborating with foreign companies and international structures to reduce methane emissions and utilize associated gas from hydrocarbon resource fields.
Hero-Arkadag expressed his belief that German companies’ expertise in these areas would be greatly beneficial to Turkmenistan.
