On September 26, 2023, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the President of the Agriculture Division of the American company “John Deere” Mark von Pentz. The guest congratulated the Hero-Arkadag on the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, expressing his wishes of well-being and prosperity for the people of the country.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that the country is taking steps to modernize the production capacities of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) with the help of advanced technologies and the best world experience.
The two sides then discussed the possibilities of further bilateral cooperation, highlighting the long-term nature of the established business contacts between Turkmenistan and “John Deere”. They also discussed the training of qualified professionals for Turkmenistan, which is another area of long-term bilateral cooperation.
The meeting concluded with the confirmation of Turkmenistan and “John Deere” to expand productive cooperation.
