SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) — On Wednesday, Green Cross Corp. reported its third-quarter net income of 18.3 billion won (US$13.5 million), which is a 56.8 percent decrease from the same period a year prior.
The company revealed in a regulatory filing that it earned 32.8 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, a drop from the 48.8 billion won it made during the same three-month period of the previous year. Additionally, revenue also decreased by 4.4 percent to 439.4 billion won.
The operating profit was 3.7 percent higher than the average prediction according to a survey done by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. Unfortunately, a net profit estimate was not given.
