The staff of Cheju Halla University, led by President Sung-Hun Kim, recently welcomed a delegation from Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages. This visit was intended to strengthen the existing partnership between these two institutions.

The two parties discussed various ways to collaborate in the academic and scientific fields. An agreement was reached to send faculty from Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages to Cheju Halla University for advanced training and internships, as well as to establish a student exchange program. Additionally, the parties agreed to open a Korean Language Center at the Andijan Institute in October.

Rector of Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, Dilshodbek Rustamov, also discussed the possibility of creating an international TOPIK test center in Andijan, which would assess the level of knowledge of the Korean language.
