Foreign Ministry provides update on 17-year-old Kyrgyzstani injured in Tatarstan drone attacks

AKIPRESS.COM – On April 2, representatives from the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan visited a Kyrgyz citizen who was harmed during drone strikes on targets in Yelabuga, Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the victim suffered minor injuries and is being transferred to a children’s hospital in Kazan for necessary treatment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General in Kazan are closely monitoring the situation.

As previously reported on April 2, a 17-year-old Kyrgyzstani, I.A.B., born in 2007, sustained moderate injuries in the drone attack in Tatarstan, according to the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. A total of six people were injured.

Drones targeted factories in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, causing minimal damage.
