A grand musical event to mark the beginning of Chinese Culture Days in Uzbekistan was held at the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”. Representatives of various government offices, artistic organizations, national cultural centers, and Chinese visitors were invited to the evening.
The Ministers of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China Hu Heping acknowledged that in recent years, the cooperation between the two countries in the social, humanitarian, cultural, and educational areas has advanced to a higher level.
The dignitaries also noted that due to the political will and combined efforts of the two countries’ leaders, their relations have been elevated to a strategic partnership and have been steadily progressing in all directions due to frequent high-level dialogues.
It was also mentioned that currently, due to the exhibitions of artwork by Uzbek artists and photographers in China, more chances are being provided for people to fully appreciate the art of both countries.
At the celebratory evening, the attendees enjoyed a concert program featuring artists from Uzbekistan and China.
