The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation hosted the International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek.uz-2023” in Tashkent, featuring exhibitions of the developments and innovative technologies of local and foreign organizations and enterprises. A forum was held to discuss the potential for Uzbekistan to join the 56 countries that are ranked highly on the Global Innovation Index. This index evaluates countries’ innovative development based on 80 indicators.
The forum looked into the ways of improving the low-rated indicators and those not included in the rating. Participants discussed the measures necessary to achieve the goal of raising Uzbekistan’s rank on the Global Innovation Index.
