The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov recently met with Japan’s Toyota Tsusho Corporation representatives to discuss potential cooperation. The Minister expressed his readiness to support projects that can contribute to the economic development of Uzbekistan, and both parties agreed to strengthen their relationship. Topics of conversation included a wind energy project, as well as the development of the telecommunications infrastructure of Uzbektelecom JSC, and the construction of data storage and processing centers in Tashkent, Bukhara, and Fergana regions.
