During a trip to the United States, Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev held a meeting with the Director of Marketing and Air Service Development at Miami International Airport, Emir Pineda. The purpose of the meeting was to look into the possibility of creating regular flights between the airports of Tashkent and Miami.
Miami International Airport saw more than 50 million passengers in 2022 and was one of the first in the country to experience growth after the COVID-19 pandemic. It also occupied the top spot in cargo transportation.
