The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with the Vice Chairman of Cerberus, Brian Hook, during his stay in New York City. Various areas of the economy were discussed in terms of potential joint projects.
The international investment firm, worth over $60 billion, is planning to invest in communication technology, mining, and the modernization of transport and energy infrastructure.
Vice Chairman Hook declared that the first cooperation initiatives will be initiated before the end of the year.
The two parties reached an agreement to create a plan for collaboration.
