The Development Strategy Center and the analytical center of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future recently held an online international roundtable discussion to talk about the outcome of the Presidential Elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
E. Tulyakov, the Director of the Development Strategy Center, declared that the elections were conducted in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Election Code, and the necessary conditions were provided for international observers to be present.
Pakistani experts who were international observers during the Presidential Election in the Republic of Uzbekistan also gave presentations at the event. Khalid Taimur Akram, the Executive Director of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, praised the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan for ensuring that the elections were conducted with transparency, openness, and fairness. He also mentioned that modern technologies were used in the voter registration process to prevent illegal activities on the day of voting.
