At an event to mark the 32nd Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, the Uzarchive Agency held a celebration with the slogan “In the name of new life, in the name of new Uzbekistan!”. During the gathering, the hard work of specific employees in archival matters was recognized and awards were ceremoniously presented to them.
In particular, the Head of the Documentation Department of the National Archive of Uzbekistan Mavjuda Mirzayeva, the Director of the State Archive of Uchkurgan district Muhammadali Umarov, and the Deputy Director of the State Archive of Fergana region Nargiza Rakhmonova were granted the badge “Soha Iftihori” (“The pride of the sphere”). A few staff members also received diplomas and commendations.
