At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron arrived in Uzbekistan on November 1 for an official visit. The two countries’ national flags were raised, and a guard of honor was presented in honor of the esteemed guest.
Tomorrow, the heads of the two states will explore the sights of ancient Samarkand and hold high-level talks in Samarkand to discuss ways to further develop multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and France. The primary focus will be on increasing practical cooperation in trade, economics, innovation, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The leaders of Uzbekistan and France will also participate in a joint Business Forum with representatives of leading companies, banking, and financial institutions of the two countries. After the summit, several intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements and trade and investment contracts are expected to be signed. UzA
