DUSHANBE, 13.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, direct passenger flights will be launched between Dushanbe and Beijing starting from June 16, 2025.
The flights will take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and will be operated by China Southern Airlines.
The establishment of this new route will aid in the expansion of bilateral cooperation in civil aviation between Tajikistan and China.
It should be noted that in recent years, thanks to the open-door policy and constant support from the country’s top leaders, the number of international routes from Tajikistan has been steadily increasing. New air connections have been established between Dushanbe and major cities such as Istanbul, Dubai, Moscow, Almaty, Tashkent, Delhi, and Tehran, playing a significant role in promoting Tajikistan’s transit potential and strengthening economic and cultural ties.
The Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan stresses that it will continue to work towards enhancing cooperation with top international airlines, improving the competitiveness of the civil aviation sector, and expanding the number of international routes for the benefit of passengers.
