The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, leading a delegation from Uzbekistan on an official visit to Belarus, met with the Minister of Education of Belarus, Andrei Ivanets, and the Rector of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, Aliaksandr Zhuk.
The two discussed the current state and potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and science.
They focused on topics such as the training of teaching staff, the development of a methodology for organizing the educational process, the implementation of research projects, and the development of inclusive education.
It was suggested that academic exchange of students and professors of higher education institutions would be a beneficial method of cooperation.
The BSPU Rector announced his intention to establish collaboration with the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
Following the meeting, an agreement was made to implement joint projects to further strengthen cooperation in education and science.
