Today in Turkmenistan, the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. The ringing of the first bell in all educational institutions of the nation marked the start of the new 2023-2024 academic year. As is customary, the opening of the school year began with a flower-laying ceremony at the Monument of Independence and the monument to Berdimuhamet Annayev, located at secondary school № 27 of Yzgant village, Gokdepe etrap, Ahal velayat.
The initial lesson in all educational institutions was conducted under the theme of this year – «Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar». On behalf of Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, first-graders were presented with personal computers-laptops developed by the experts from «Aýdyň Gijeler» ES.
Every year, numerous new educational establishments are constructed and opened in Turkmenistan. For the beginning of the new academic year, architectural premieres were held in many regions and etraps of the Motherland, with the participation of representatives of the executive branch and public organizations, honorary elders and local inhabitants.
In Turkmenistan, the care for the younger generation and their education based on national and universal values is one of the main goals of the state policy.
As part of the ongoing reforms, great emphasis is placed on the improvement of the national education system, which is the basis for the further development of the society and the state.
