The renowned Rishtan pottery, with its unique design, vivid colors, and intricate patterns, is well-known outside of Uzbekistan. Thanks to the efforts of entrepreneurs, this centuries-old tradition is still alive and flourishing. Islamjon Orifjanov recently established a tourist complex and pottery center, Chinor Plus 2020, in the “Oq Yer” mahalla of Rishtan, at a cost of 37 billion UZS.
The complex includes a hotel, summer and winter pools, and other service centers, and it is the pottery center, with its Rishtan-crafted products, that draws the attention of tourists.
