During a meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, on 17 June, the President of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the President of China, H.E. Xi Jinping, emphasized that China makes up more than 20% of Tajikistan’s foreign trade. They also discussed collaborating in areas such as education, healthcare, and cultural-humanitarian relations. The leaders recognized the significance of establishing direct flights between Dushanbe and Beijing.
