DUSHANBE, 16.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the China–Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum on June 16 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The forum brought together representatives from governments, businesses, and experts from the region to discuss potential collaborations in key areas such as digitalization, transportation, agriculture, and mining.

In his speech, Rahimzoda emphasized the significance of expanding investment partnerships between China and Central Asian countries. He also highlighted Tajikistan’s consistent economic growth and its potential in green energy, mineral resource development, tourism, and agriculture.

Rahimzoda stated, “This dialogue presents a unique opportunity to unlock our shared potential and elevate industrial and investment cooperation to a higher level.”

The forum also emphasized the importance of China as a major trade and economic partner for Tajikistan. Currently, there are over 700 Chinese-owned enterprises registered in Tajikistan, with a total investment of more than USD 5 billion.
