Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) is pleased to announce the addition of Bose K. Varghese to their team as Senior Director – ESG Practice. Based in Mumbai, Varghese brings with him more than 32 years of experience in the field of sustainability, environment, climate change, and clean-tech. He was formerly with Infosys Limited as Head of Green Initiatives, and prior to that he founded Vie2Sustain Consulting LLP. He also has process industry experience and global experience with nearly 10 years in the United States of America.
Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner of CAM, expressed his enthusiasm in welcoming Varghese to the firm, noting that his presence will bolster the Firm’s ESG offerings and strengthen their capabilities in supporting their clients. Varghese holds a M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Houston and a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calicut.
Varghese also shared his excitement in joining India’s leading law firm, noting that he looks forward to leveraging his experience to benefit the Firm’s ESG practice with the outstanding team of lawyers. His key achievements at Infosys include winning the UN Global Climate Action Award in 2019 and making Infosys Carbon Neutral in fiscal 2020 across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
