During their trip to Uzbekistan, the business representatives from Belarus also made a visit to the Jizzakh region. They were given a detailed overview of the activities of agricultural clusters and discussed opportunities for further collaboration with local businesspeople in the agricultural sector. The delegation also attended the Regional Intersectoral Industrial Fair in Jizzakh. The Jizzakh FEZ Directorate organized B2B meetings where participants showcased their activities through presentations and videos. Advanced technologies and products were presented by the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gomselmash, and Gomelagrocomplekt companies. The discussions also focused on issues such as transferring agricultural machinery, cooperation in animal husbandry, and modernization of agriculture. As a result of negotiations with Belarusian companies, preliminary agreements were signed for the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment, which will further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the agricultural sector.
